Demonstration of artwork created with molten glass. Students will have an opportunity to watch and ask questions while molten glass is transformed into art. A discussion of glass art history and the chemical aspects of glass will be discussed.
Participation in the creation of glass art. Each student will create a sculpted glass piece under the instruction and supervision of a skilled glass artist. A discussion of molten glass, its properties and history of glass art will be included throughout the class. Class size is limited to 24 students.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
