The Foundation for Tulsa Schools is committed to providing educational resources and opportunities for all students at Tulsa Public Schools. With community support and assistance we are able to offer teachers the ability to apply for Grants for Great Ideas, take advantage of the Explore Tulsa program, and prepare their students for learning with regular Teacher Supply Days. In addition, we’re excited to launch the Teacher Appreciation Grants, an initiative specifically for principals to apply on behalf of their teachers. 

GRANTS FOR GREAT IDEAS

Are you a teacher with a great idea?

Need classroom supplies? Have an exciting hands-on learning project that you need funded? Tulsa Public School teachers can request a grant up to $500. Each TPS teacher can apply once per school year. The grant request is due by the last day of the month. Applicants will be notified of a decision by the last day of the following month.  

When can I submit an application?

We are currently accepting applications. Submit yours today while funding is still available! 

Grant Applications are due at the end of the each month.

Funded field trips for Title I schools

Despite a thriving cultural neighborhood in Tulsa, many low-income students spend little time in the core of the city.  Students need to believe that Tulsa is a city they can live in, contribute to, and a place that welcomes them. In order to build strong bonds between our promising students and the city of Tulsa, the Foundation for Tulsa Schools is excited to foster a grant opportunity for Title I schools in the Tulsa area. Explore Tulsa exposes students to the cultural and historical treasures of our area, allowing them to dream big in their academic and personal pursuits. Teachers from Title I schools within Tulsa Public Schools can submit ideas for field trips and receive funding for bus transportation. The program is designed to encourage visits to multiple locations during a single fieldtrip.

Donated supplies and furniture!

Tulsa Public Schools teachers and school leaders: do you need supplies for your classroom? Donated school supplies and furniture will be available to school leaders and teachers on the following days:

Tuesday, September 24th
3:30-5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 22nd
3:30-5:30 p.m.

Tuesday, December 3rd
3:30-5:30 p.m.
